Summary of Missions Report for the Year 2015

Thank God for the successful completion of the year 2015 and all the amazing things that God did for us in the concluded year.We are thankful to all our friends and partners for the prayers and financial support from time to time. May the God of harvest multiply every seed you have sown in the year 2015 and reward you abundantly in this new year. Heaven records and we are sure that your eternal reward is guaranteed as well.

Here are some of the amazing things God did through support of our friends and partners from different part of the world.

  1. Souls were saved in outreach done among the Batwa tribe of Burundi at the Gika settlement of Ngozi province of Burundi and consistent evangelism by the Children of the Bible Club.
  2. Testimonies of healing abound as many were delivered from demonic oppression and long term ailments.
  3. We had a national prayer retreat for Burundi in January 2015 with a team of Intercessors from Nigeria. God answers prayer as Burundi is still been kept by prayers till this day.
  4. Average of 50 Children continue to learn about the love of God and they grew in their knowledge of God through weekly teachings, prayers, fasting and evangelism.
  5. Two Children that lost their mothers after birth were received into the orphanage and were delivered from situation that could have led to their death. Another Child of 8 years old was also received into the orphanage. Now there are Seven Children in the Orphanage. A baby girl of one month was brought on December 28 and another boy of 8 years old abandoned by her poor mother alongside her siblings was brought to the orphanage at the recommendation of the Ministry of Solidarity recently received.
  6. The most amazing part of God's provision is the provision of funds for Baby milk (Formula). We spent $986 equivalent of NGN216,853 (1,396,800 Burundian Francs) on baby food alone this year (January- December 2015)
  7. The abandoned child received into the orphanage at 2 1/2 months old whom the doctor said he might not be able to sit, stand or walk on hisown because of the operation he had after been brought out from the pit latrine is now grown and he is walking well now. He is now almost 1 year and 5 months old.
  8. We were able to help many poor children with clothes as God provides.
  9. We were able to travel home for holiday from April to June and that made it possible for our family members to see our son who was born in Burundi in 2013. We were part of my father's 70th birthday in June and he later passed on to glory on August 18,2015. God made it possible for me to return to Nigeria to attend his burial in October 2015. Thank God for journey mercies and provisions.
  10. We had opportunities to share report of the work in Burundi at different times when we were on holiday and God blessed the mobilization efforts by raising new partners for the work. We are grateful to many people that have been given consistently since God brought us their way in May 2015. A partner committed himself to pay orphanage staff salaries since September 2015 and he has been fulfilling his promise. We are grateful.
  11. God also blessed my family with a baby girl on my birthday (November 30th) and we thank him for the perfect gift from Him.
We are thankful to God and to every one who has helped us to accomplish more for God's Kingdom in the year 2015. We are looking forward to greater things in this new year 2016. Thanks for your partnership.
